Engineering & Science Students Exhibition 2018 (ESSE’18): Multi Disciplinary Engineering & Science Exploration

INTRODUCTION
ESSE’18 is a competition at University Level and it is open to all undergraduate students in Malaysia. The aim of this exhibition is to nourish students’ research, design and innovation skills in multi-disciplinary areas that relate to engineering, science and technology. Our mission is to support and encourage students from Malaysia to share their knowledge, research work and experience during the exhibition and ultimately will contribute to the development of engineering, science and technology.
ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY - This exhibition is open to all undergraduate students who are currently pursuing higher studies in any recognized university or college in Malaysia regardless of their field of studies.
- Each group must consist of a maximum of five participants only.
- Each group has to bring the prototypes and posters during exhibition.
EVALUATION PROJECT - The exhibition will be evaluated by panel representatives from IET Malaysia, IEM Malaysia and professionals from electrical, civil and mechanical engineering industries.
- The project will be evaluated based on the overall project (20%), authenticity, adaptation and creativity (30%), usefulness (30%), potential project (10%) and effectiveness of project costs (10%).
- Marks will be 100% from the panel and the decisions by the panel are final and no appeal will be entertained.
REGISTRATION FEES - A registration fee of RM400.00 is chargeable, (maximum of 5 participants) per group.
- Participants are responsible for their own accommodation and transportation to MAHSA University.

- Take a snapshot of your bank transaction receipt and send it together with the completed entry form to our email.
- Kindly notify us via Facebook Page when you have paid your registration fee.
- During the day of the competition, present the original entry form and ICs for the registration process.
- Deadline for registration and payment: 30 June 2018
RULES AND REGULATIONS - Any project/products/goods that are prohibited under Malaysian law are strictly not allowed. The organiser reserves the right to reject or remove such unlawful items without notice, and the organiser will not be liable for any damage of property or loss to exhibitors.
- Participants are advised to wear attire representing their respective university during the competition.
- Participants or any parties who have joined the exhibition are subject to the rules of MAHSA University. The organiser reserves the right to impose disciplinary action if any rules are violated.
- Participants must ensure that workstations are clean throughout the exhibition period and ensure that waste is disposed properly.
