Synopsis

Electrical supply is essential to any project development. TNB has developed a comprehensive application guide for the application of electrical power supply. Consulting Engineers representing Developers, Industrialists, or other Government agencies will be required to apply for electricity supply from TNB.

Currently, TNB has established more rules and regulations to be complied by consulting Engineers and contractors in terms of power system design and sub-station building design and construction. Hence, it is timely for all consulting Engineers, Planners, Architects, Developers, Contractors, or Government agencies who are directly or indirectly involve in development projects require power supply will benefit from the proposed seminar.

The contents are:-
Supply application for various load demand
Connection guideline regarding planning, design criteria, load demand and provision of sub-station buildings required 
Metering system
Self service portal (SSP)


Biodata

1) Mr Durai Retnam Aruchandran

Mr Durai Retnam Aruchandran currently is a Senior Engineer with Tenaga Nasional Berhad. He started work with TNB in 1980 and has vast experience in Distribution Network system related work and has spent a good measure of years with Meters Department. Graduated from University of Plymouth Great Britain and earned an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Registered Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia. Mr. Durai is currently involved with installation of Large Power Consumer Meter installation and maintenance and also actively engaged with Laboratory Meter and CT Testing activities where the Laboratory is an accredited Lab to MS ISO\IEC 17025 Standards. Mr Durai is also the appointed Approved Signatory of the Metering Laboratory by Standards Malaysia Department


2)Ir. Noor Adnan bin Abdul Aziz

Ir. Noor Adnan bin Abdul Aziz is certified Professional Engineer and holds a Master Degree in Master in Business Administration (Uniten) in 2005 and a Bachelor degree in Civil  Engineering (UNCC,  USA) in 1987. He had been working with LLN/TNB for the past 28 years. His experiences cover engineering design consultancy and project management for transmission and distribution over headline and substation projects. He had been actively involved in many TNB initiatives such as Anugerah Kualiti Presiden, TNB Fire Policy Committee and Safety Awareness program.


3)Che Kamariah Binti Che Isa

Che Kamariah Binti Che Isa (Graduate Member) graduated from University Of Technology Malaysia in 2002. She is holding Bachelor of Degree (Hons.) in Electrical Engineering. She has more than 12 years of working experience in TNB covering Operation and Maintenance Unit, Construction Unit and Planning Unit. Currently she is taking the responsibility and challenge as the Senior State Planner for 33kV where all the supply projects and system improvement projects planned according to Electricity Supply Application Handbook (ESAH) and Distribution Planning Guideline.


4) Mohd Aiman Sufyan Bin Abdul Razak 

Mohd Aiman Sufyan Bin Abdul Razak graduated from University of Tenaga Nasional in 2012. He is holding Bachelor of Degree (Hons.) in Electrical Power Engineering. Registered Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia. He has more than 4 years of working experience in TNB covering 11kV Operation Unit, Maintenance Unit and Perak Customer Service and Marketing Unit. Currently he is taking the responsibility and challenge as the Assistant Manager of Perak Customer Service Unit. Mr Aiman is also the appointed TNB Subject Matter Expert for the new launched self-service portal myTNB which is the main medium and system for supply application process.
