SYNOPSIS
Sustainability is about looking after the environment and society for future generations. How can the “private sectors” play a role in doing so, instead of leaving the task to government and NGOs? The role of professionals in sustainability will be discussed and how engineers and designers can play a part in this challenge facing us. Case studies of urbanization, climate change, ageing populations and smart cities will be presented.
