SYNOPSIS

The future of the marine industry lies in the hands of the students today. As a professional institution, Malaysian Joint Branch RINA-IMarEST (MJB) has collaborated with three universities offering marine-related courses – UTM, UPNM & UniKL MIMET – in organising the Undergraduate Thesis Presentation to expose prospective graduates to the industry as well as identify and celebrate outstanding students' work. The three winners from the competition will be presenting their work to the industry in this unique technical talk jointly organised by MJB and IEM MNATD.

Ms. Nur Masitoh Islamiah Mustaffa Kamal from UTM will be sharing her experience on "Construction and Testing of Slam Shock Absorber for Small High-Speed Craft". Ms. Nur Nelizza Abdul Manaf from UPNM will be sharing on "Emergency Surface Marker Buoy Prototype for Adrift Divers". Ms. Nabila Attiqa Abdul Ghani from UniKL MIMET will be sharing on "Mechanical Testing for 1G Robotic Welding of GMAW process". Their talks will cater to a wide range of professionals in the industry.
