SYNOPSIS:

In recent years, pre-stressed spun pile has been widely adopted in our construction industry as a practical and potentially economical alternative foundation system. In order to possess the unique pre-stressed characteristic, the production of spun pile would be different from conventional reinforced concrete (RC) square pile, such as the use of concrete, spinning, curing, etc. This technical visit aims at enabling a better understanding of the production processes in great details and the inherent characteristic of pre-stressed spun pile.
