SYNOPSIS

While smart technology is rapidly expanding in the leisure sector, with apps, smart beacons, mapping and way finding offering better user experiences, stronger relationships with consumers and, most importantly the ability to collect detailed operational and behavioural data in real time, this technology has yet to significantly infiltrate into other business sectors such as manufacturing, construction and management system.

Electric Bench is one of the first IoT companies to grow innovative digital ecosystems using a smart technology spine, deploying using multiple IoT technologies to deliver dramatic improvements in business efficiencies, real time data gathering and analytics intelligence, enhanced employee and contractor communications and better performance in any business enterprise.

Electric Bench worked with the National Museum of Wales to create a user experience of the artwork and exhibits that was enhanced by smart beacon proximity devices that triggered video, audio & polling content directly to the visitor’s device as they toured the building. This improved visitor numbers, increased revenue and gave the museum important information on how visitors behave to improve the layout of their exhibits in the future.

This technology is now being used to greatly improve productivity for property management, HSE management, construction high risk environments and contractor / short service employees’ governance. The ability to push and receive real time data on current activity and behaviour gives organisations the ability to be more agile and efficient in their supply chain, as well as reducing risk profiles and having a better understand of the effectiveness of their controls.

BIODATA OF SPEAKER

1. Mr. Fazlee Mansor
Fazlee Mansor is a trained mechanical engineer by profession and has been in the industry for the last 18 years with vast experience working for various multinational companies. Fazlee specializes in business process improvement, Factory Quality System Expectations (FQSE) as well as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). He is also well versed in world class maintenance implementation. He has vast experience in the areas of safety leadership, system design/diagnostic/assessment, organisation culture improvements, as well as behavioural based safety. Prior to this, Fazlee was a senior consultant at Dekra Insight and Senior Project Leader at a Fortune 50 FMCG company. Fazlee holds a 1st class honour degree in Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from University of Wales, Cardiff and a Certificate of Mechanical Services from University of Sydney, Australia.

2. Mr. Syed Hafiz Jamalullail
Syed Hafiz has over 15 years of experience in the automotive industry. He has been with multiple companies that are all a vendor/supplier to the automotive OEM’s. His strengths mainly focusing on the sales & marketing & project implementation. Other than that, Syed Hafiz are also involve in the plantation and F&B industry. Syed Hafiz is one of the partners of the Malaysian branch of Electric Bench. Being in this new Internet of Things (IoT) industry, there are plenty of opportunity and scope to grow and thrive not only in the automotive but all other industry.
