Synopsis
Models created using BIM software are intelligent because information is automatically built into the model. Components within the model relate to each other in the same way building elements relate within a building. With BIM, the model is a complex database that contains both geometric information and non-graphic date.
ArchiCAD is the leading Building Information Modeling software application used by architects, designers, engineers and builders to professionally design, document and collaborate on building projects. Since its release over 30 years ago, ArchiCAD has been all about BIM.
In this introductory talk, learn what BIM is and a brief walkthrough how BIM is implemented using ArchiCAD.
