Synopsis
This course intends to demonstrate how OpenRoads supports BIM Advancements for Better Performing Infrastructure Assets. Learn why civil and transportation engineers, government and owners depend on OpenRoads from Bentley Systems, to meet today’s design, construction and operations challenges. OpenRoads help users work more productively, collaborate globally, and deliver better performing infrastructure assets.
OpenRoads allows civil project teams to accelerate design, produce intelligent 3D models that enable construction-driven engineering, share information across project teams, and facilitate project delivery.
Participants will learn the following: • Combine plan, profile, and cross-section workflows with true 3D immersive modeling to make better quality designs • Experience the design real time with our powerful 3D modeler to eliminate construction errors and reduce project costs Use Civil Cell functionality for repeatable geometric modeling, resulting in productivity gains • Take advantage of hypermodels that provide immersive interaction with content of any type – 2D drawings, raster images, videos, point clouds, scalable terrain models, and more – resulting in better informed project decisions Limited to 10 participants to facilitate interaction
