LATA MAKAU
The first part of the trail to Lata Makau falls is the same as to Bukit Kutu and Lata Medang. Starting from Kg Pertak and cross two suspension steel bridges. A few hundred meters after the second bridge crossing there is a fork. The trail on left will leads to Lata Makau, while the right trail leads to Bukit Kutu. Not far after this fork, sound of Lata Jebus waterfall can be heard which is reachable via a short side trail.
Various pitcher plants and mosses grow besides the trail with various varieties of wild orchids. The last part to reach Lata Makau requires a river hike which is not advisable if the current is strong (a day after heavy rain).
