SYNOPSIS
Top Glove (TG) is an organization set up with the objectives to act as a pioneer of the glove manufacturing industry in Malaysia and promote production of glove products in the Malaysian industry. TG to grow into a globally competitive company, committed to wider application of research and technology in market driven niche areas and to widen the industrial base in enhancing the competitiveness of local manufactured products and services. TG is the world’s largest rubber glove manufacturer and a one-stop glove sourcing centre. The company has 28 factories, 10,000 employees, 500 production lines, 46.6 billion pcs of gloves per year and exporting to more than 195 countries worldwide. A series of government effort in promoting glove manufacturing has improved the operations of TG. The local and home-grown glove producer has benefitted from the government policy such as regulations, tax incentive etc. It would be a great opportunity for Engineers to visit TG to gain insight and better understanding particularly on the glove manufacturing industry in Malaysia.
NOTE: The visit is strictly limited to 30 participants registered on a first-come, first-served basis.
