Ar. Jonathan Lai will give a brief overview of the Housing Development (Control & Licensing) Act 1966 in particular to the role of the certifier under the Sale & Purchase Agreement. The outline is as follows:

BIODATA OF SPEAKER

Ar. Jonathan Lai, graduated with Bachelor of Science (Architecture) and Bachelor of Architecture in 1998 and 1991 respectively, from the University of Sydney, Australia. He started his career spending first 10 years with architectural consultancy firms. Later, he involved in property development projects and worked on various high-end residential, commercial, township and mixed-used integrated development projects both locally and overseas. He is registered as an Architect with Board of Architects, Malaysia (LAM) and a Corporate member of Malaysia Institute of Architects (PAM). He involved in architectural education since 1999 and has been conducting intensive revision courses for architectural graduates preparing for their professional examination since 2001. He is currently attached to ArchiCentre Sdn Bhd.
