Today, with depleting fossil fuel reserve and increasing environmental concern taking the centre stage, power generation using renewable resources has becoming increasing important, to ensure a reliable and affordable electricity supply. The objective of this two-hour talk is to introduce to the audience the various power generation technologies that are commonly applied globally.
