SYNOPSIS
Trouble shooting is a common practice in any industry to diagnose problems in its process. It requires knowledge, common senses and historical data to assist or support the findings. Trouble shooter normally is an experienced person and familiar with the system or minimum with solid engineering understanding. The following talk highlights issues and the station being resolved in trouble shooting that normally face in palm oil industry. Area or station involve inclusive of boiler and palm oil mill main stations.
BIODATA OF SPEAKER
Ir. Wan Wai Thong graduated from UPM in 1993 with a Bachelor Degree in Agriculture Engineering. He started his career in palm oil milling and remained the same till today. He has worked in a state-of-art heat and power combined plant to generate electric and steam for paper industry. He has also conducted various power generation projects in palm oil mills. Currently, he is the technical director of one of the leading palm oil milling company and is aggressively embarking in palm oil milling and power generation activities.
