Gunung Irau is the 15th highest mountain in Malaysia (2110m). The peak has a border marker shared by 2 states - Pahang and Perak. It is the location for several outdoor scenes from the 2005 Malay blockbuster ‘Puteri Gunung Ledang’. You will need to hike about 4 hours to reach Gunung Irau from the road. The road is famed for being the highest road in Peninsular Malaysia. Mossy forest and fairyland, cold wind and misty clouds are some of the wonders of Gunung Irau.
