The legendary Gunung Ledang or Mt. Ophir is shrouded in mystical legends and folklore. The mountain is located in the Gunung Ledang National Park, Tangkak District, Johor. The summit at 1,276m is the 64th highest mountain in Malaysia and the highest in Johor. There are big rocks and boulders with diverse flora and fauns along the trail and offer a panoramic view of the Straits of Melaka on a clear day.
