SYNOPSIS
In today’s digital driven world, disruptive technology often drives organisations to continuously update their business model. These changes are technology-enabled, and such tools, for example, are drones. Industries are taking full benefits from the advantages of using drones, ranging from agriculture to construction. Early adopters, have seen success results from using drone at site. Aerial photos, videos, and imagery are used to monitor projects, track construction project progress, and provide real-time status and updates. Engineering of the future is becoming more complex with IR 4.0 in mind, usage of drones can help close the gap.
