SYNOPSIS

The seminar is about to share the importance of Surge Protection solution for various kind of application. It is also completed with the knowledge of different types of Surge Protection (SPD) and to do a good selection for each specific application. In addition to the SPD, the solution is also included how to monitor those ground status to provide most effective Surge Protection.


Biodata: 1

Ir. Dr. Ng Kok Chiang graduated from the University of Western Australia with first class honours in Electrical and Electronics Engineering as well as Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance (Investment), Accounting, and Managerial Accounting. He then pursued his PhD in Engineering at the University of Nottingham, UK. He worked as a consultant at ZED-G&P Sdn Bhd and is currently the Chief Technology Officer of MyBig Sdn Bhd. since 2011.

Chatra Prisandi, graduated from Universitas Indonesia Electrical Engineering in 2011. He started to work in PT. Schneider Indonesia from 2011 as Low Voltage System Specialist. He was a Technical Consultant & Design Lead for Blokset and Okken (LV Panels made by Schneider Electric covering APAC). In Jan 2015, he joined PT. ABB Sakti Industry as Technical Support Lead for LV products. He was also Manager of DIN-Rail Product Development for MCB, SPD and ELCB. In October 2015, he joined MERSEN France SB SAS as Surge Protection Specialist. He was the Technical Support Lead for Mersen Products and Surge Protection Design & Consultant for SEA Region. He also conducted various Surge Protection seminars for customers in countries such as Indonesia and Thailand. And now He is responsible for the Country Representative for Malaysia & Singapore area.
