INTRODUCTION

Global warming and climate change are no longer hypothesis but is real, happening and we experience it now.

Energy generations, industrial processes, transportation and human lifestyle are main culprits for the increase of greenhouse gas emissions to the atmosphere that causes global warming and climate change. Engineers are involved in all those activities, and now, is the time for engineers to contribute to preserve this planet.

Issue of plastic pollutants, energy management and low carbon economy are among hot topics now. What are the engineers’ roles here? And how can they innovatively provide solutions and create business opportunities that term as sustainable excellent.
