SYNOPSIS

Engineer play an important role in national development. The involvement of engineers at decision making related to policy making bodies will directly affect the productivity of national development.

The involvement and contribution of youngest especially profession like engineers will be an advantage for nation development.
This session will be discuss about how a young engineer should play the important role in nation development especially in any related national policy.  


SPEAKER’S BIODATA

Pn. Hazami Habib is currently serving at Academy of Science Malaysia (ASM) as the Chief Executive Office.  She obtained her Bachelor of Information Science (Honours) degree from University of Technology MARA.

She joined ASM in 1996. In her years at the Academy, she has involved in several national ad international level studies and programmes such as National Astronaut Programme, National Science Challenge, ASEAN, and Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Meetings related to STI and others.

She is the Chair of Science, Technology and Innovation Committee in APEC Policy Partnership on Science, Technology and Innovation (2017-2018). Her area of interest and expertise is on STEM Talent Development, Policies, Strategic Science Communication, Foresight, Science Diplomacy, and Governance.
