SYNOPSIS

FELCRA – Federal Land Consolidation and Rehabilitation Authority was a statutory body established under Act 570 National Land Rehabilitation and Consolidation Authority (Succession and Dissolution) Act 1997. Since 1st September 1997 Felcra Berhad has been corporatized and become a government owned company venturing into various businesses in line with its initial agenda and national aspiration.

Felcra Berhad, through subsidiary company Felcra Plantation Services Sdn Bhd has established a Paddy Seed Center in Kg. Gajah Seberang Perak to process legitimate seeds with a capacity of 2 mt/h to 6mt/h. Starting from 2015 to date, the quota for FELCRA Plantation Services Sdn Bhd’s rice production is 6,500 mt/yr.

 The visit is strictly limited to only thirty (30) participants registered and fully paid on a first-come, first-served basis
 The purpose of the visit is to understand how Felcra Berhad’s Rice Seed Center play its role in producing and supplying legitimate seeds according to the established standards and procedures.
