It is reckoned that throughout the world, as the number of projects swell, the pool of certified talents in project management is however not keeping pace. For example, of the 20 million people participating in projects worldwide, just one million have professionally recognized formal training on how to best execute those projects. One thing becomes clear: The demand for skilled project managers is at a critically urgent level.

With the dynamic demands from the workplace, an individual who is skilled in Project Management techniques stands above the rest in terms of having superior abilities to plan, organise and to systematically approach his or her work. BIODATA OF SPEAKER

Ir. Frankie Chong, (B.Sc. Hons., MBA, P.Eng., MIEM, PMP®), a graduate of the University of Manchester (UK), a Professional Engineer, has more than 30 years of experience in leading and managing many large and small projects in various industries such as engineering, telecommunication, construction, IT, education, military and finance.

Leveraging on his diverse working career and industrial experience as a Controller, Project Director/Engineer, Chief Information Technology Officer in local and international positions, Project Management Consultant, and a Chief Paper Examiner/Lecturer of a U.K. University project management module, Frankie currently helps MNCs and SMEs improve productivity and effectiveness by providing strategic training and consulting services in the areas of Project Management & Methodology, Business Process Re-Engineering, PMP® & CAPM® Certifications, Project Leadership and Communication.

He is also a panel expert and certified trainer with Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and HRDF, current Chairman of IEM Seniors Special Interest Group and the past Chairman and Advisor of IEM Project Management Technical Division.
