SYNOPSIS
Mudajaya Group Berhad has 2 solar farm facilities with a total capacity of 59MWac. Its latest plant up is located in Sg. Siput, Perak with a capacity of 49MWac under the first phase large scale solar farm projects initiated by Suruhanjaya Tenaga, Malaysia. This solar farm is built, owned and operated by Mudajaya wholly owned subsidiary Sinar Kamiri Sdn Bhd while the engineering, procurement, construction & commissioning (EPCC) contractor is its wholly owned subsidiary Entrutech Sdn Bhd.
The solar farm is first of its kind to be built on an undulating land in Malaysia. As the concept is renewable, Mudajaya has taken the initiative to build the solar farm with minimum impact to the land natural beauty. This has posed challenges in terms of the design and construction to ensure optimum sun energy can be harnessed while preserving the land natural beauty. In addition, continuing to allow vegetation to grow under the solar panels has further challenges in terms of solar farm operation & maintenance.
IMPORTANT: All participants MUST wear their own safety shoes and attend the safety briefing. Anyone not complying with the safety requirements will not be allowed to enter the facility. The visit is strictly limited to only fourty (40) participants registered and fully paid on a first-come, first-served basis. Transport : Coach will be provided * (Assemble at Bangunan Ingenieur by 8.30am for safety briefing. Coach will depart at 10.00)
