SYNOPSIS
Critical facilities have been designed to improve efficiency, increase reliability, decrease the foot print along with reducing capital cost which are always been the focus goals of Engineers. In the year past, many technologies have addressed these goals by developing highly efficient UPS with improve performance and reliability. We have reduced maintenance cost, space required, installation time and energy cost which always brings us to the question, what else we can do? Eaton will talk on technology innovations and evolutions in UPS system in past and next generation as well as growing trends in Energy Storage System which help on how we can better leverage on the power infrastructure. Lastly, the talk will look on the next generation data and advance analytics in critical power and energy management.
SPEAKER’S PROFILE
Rayson is the South East Asian Field Application Manager at Eaton Industries, one of the world’s largest Electrical, Data Centre, Industrial, Power and Energy Management Companies. He joined Eaton Industries in October 2016 and is responsible for providing technical consultancy and data centre design support across the East Asian Region.
Rayson’s current role at Eaton Industries will draw on 19 years of Data Center Critical power protection Installation, maintenance and design, which helps customers to address their most demanding business challenges in and around the data centre. Rayson’s extensive and broad experience in data centre infrastructure power and cooling management, allows him to develop solutions across a diverse range of industry and customer portfolios by implementing industry best practices whilst maintaining availability and efficiency to customers business. Prior to joining Eaton Industries, Rayson held several positions within Schneider Electric such as, Regional Software Solution Architect, Regional Technical Trainer for Field Service Engineers. At Schneider Electric his role was to help customers implement and adapt data centre software management solution and critical power protection devices to achieve strict business goals and optimize their data centre infrastructure investments.
Rayson has taken IT Programming at NITT Manila Philippines and a Registered Electrical Engineer from the Philippines and has completed his studies in Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Adamson University Manila, Philippines in the year 1998.
