SYNOPSIS

Bentley delivers solutions for the entire lifecycle of the infrastructure asset, tailored to the needs of the various professions – the engineers, architects, planners, contractors, fabricators, IT managers, operators and maintenance engineers – who will work on and work with that asset over its lifetime. Comprised of integrated applications and services built on an open platform, each solution is designed to ensure that information flows between workflow processes and project team members to enable interoperability and collaboration. This talk would focus on our solution for the design of road and rail infrastructure as part of the infrastructure’s BIM process. The key takeaway will be on how Bentley’s technology can help benefit every stakeholder in an infrastructure project, be it in a technical, management or business perspectives.


SPEAKER BIODATA

Mr KC Teow has been involved in the infrastructure industry since 2006 spanning across the Middle East and South East Asia in various capacities. His experience in the Middle East includes stints with Gamuda, a large international infrastructure contractor, followed by Fugro, a world renowned geotechnical service provider. He then served the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, managing their road infrastructure projects and then moved on to practice civil & traffic design with Beca Carter, Ferner & Hollings Pte Ltd. He is now with Bentley Systems advocating the use of software technology for road and rail infrastructure design in a BIM process.
