Technology and innovation are essential elements for construction industry players to be productive and competitive. The presentation on Digital Worksite Solutions (DWS) introduces New technologies that include Machine Control and Guidance, Telematics and Machine Data, GNSS/GPS technologies, Drone services, Construction design and application software and innovative approaches, as well as advances in digital technology and big data in enabling a Digital Worksite.


Biodata of Speaker 1: Mr. Chiang Kwong Hoong

Chiang Kwong Hoong is the Industry Manager in Sime Darby Industrial Sdn. Bhd. His responsibilities include being recognized as a job-site expert on the core machines and methods utilized in quarry, mining & construction and is familiar with machines and methods found in the industry.  

K.H Chiang is a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering graduate from Curtin University, Western Australia and joined Sime Darby Industrial in 2000 as a Sales Development Executive. He has extensive knowledge in Caterpillar products involved in Quarry, Mining & Heavy Construction for major infrastructure projects – Hydroelectric Dams, Rail & Highway/Road construction.

This presentation endeavors to identify major areas in fleet optimization & equipment management solutions which Sime Darby & Caterpillar can provide through technology and innovation.
    

Biodata of Speaker 2: En. Kusairi Azenan

Kusairi Azenan is the Application Engineer for SITECH Malaysia, the Trimble CEC dealer for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. Kusairi is the Sales Application Engineer at SITEHC Malaysia and his responsibilities include Sales and Technical support of Machine Control Equipment known in industry as Automatic Machine Guidance (AMG)

Graduated in Bsc. Geomatic at Universiti Teknologi Mara in December 2006 he has been working in various positions in the construction having position as the head of survey and drafting section. Kusairi has accumulated many years of experience on technical application and support of AMG.
Prior to his current job role at SITECH, Kusairi was involved in GNSS RTK for surveying which is core component of AMG since 2003. Since then, he has been involved in AMG for Motor Grader and Excavator with Trimble Site Vision in Doha, Qatar on 2006 to 2008. And since 2014, Kusairi has been instrumental in the application and adoption of AMG for Excavator, Paver, Motor Grader, Dozer and Milling Machine in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.

Kusairi is passionate about AMG for the industry and is able to speak about this technology in the Construction Industry with relation to CIM (Civil / Infrastructure Information Modeling) which closely related to AMG.
