SYNOPSIS

Project Management (PM) plays a critical role in the Implementation of projects in all the organizations or companies regardless wherever they are small or large and applies both in Public and Private Sectors. Using PM methods and tools cannot ensure the success of a project but it certainly can improve its chances of being completed on time within cost and quality.

Managing Project includes; Identify requirements, establish clear and achievable objectives, balancing the competing demands for quality, scope, time and cost, also adapting the specifications, plans, and approach to the different concerns and expectations of the various stakeholders.

Stakeholder management is the process of engaging with these persons and maintaining good relationships with them. You'll likely be working with people in many different roles, with varying levels of influence over your project. The importance of their impact and influence cannot be under estimated. Communicating with each one in the right way can play a vital part in keeping them "on board" and focussed in striving to contribute to success.

The speaker has been in the Royal Malaysian Navy for 33 years and held CEO positions and Chairman of three different companies since leaving the government sector. He has numerous project experience and exposed tremendously in stakeholder management.
