SPEAKER’S PROFILE
Mr. Patrick Chan is the Senior Director of Business Development of Uptime Institute in South Asia and is responsible for all commercial and service delivery activities span across South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. He holds an MBA from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, UK in 1999 with over 30 years' leadership experience in ICT Security, Business Continuity, Managed Services, Data Center Solutions encompassing Financials, Manufacturing, IDC and Telecommunication Industries.
He has experience working throughout Europe, Asia and Australia with client engagements in strategic and business developments, ICT strategic planning and operation on business data center for manufacturing, oil and gas, telecommunications, and financial services sectors.
Mr. B Shivakumar holds degree in Electrical Engineering from Mysore university, India graduated in 1989. He has 25+ years of working experience on electrical and distributed power generation. Shiva currently manages data center major accounts in Asia-Pacific region for Large Electric Power division within Caterpillar Inc., last 6 years Shiva focusing to support data center customers and dealers with system solution and integration while improving overall efficiency and reducing operating cost. Prior to taking current responsibilities within Caterpillar, Shiva had responsibility for Gas engine application engineering for distributed power generation, CHP and industrial application.
Before joining Team Caterpillar, Shiva was worked with electrical consultant and switchgear manufacturer who involved in system automation and controls for various industries, including power plants.
