SYNOPSIS

EWT Transformer Sdn. Bhd. (EWT) is a joint venture company formed between Malaysia’s Wira Digital Sdn. Bhd. (WDSB) and Wilson Transformer Company Pty. Ltd. (WTC). WTC is a leading manufacturer of Power and Distribution Transformers in Australia with more than 80 years experience.

EWT Transformer Sdn Bhd was established in 1994 in response to the Malaysian government's vision to develop and enhance local expertise in manufacturing of power industry products. EWT takes pride of all its involvement from the design, manufacturing and sales of Distribution Transformer mainly from 100kVA to 3000kVA and up to 36kV AC. It has also expanded its product range to include Compact Substation and Cast Resin Transformer.

Gradually, since its establishment, EWT business has grown tremendously and its product range and services have expanded accordingly to serve its clients beyond their initial needs. Besides its manufacturing business, EWT also currently provides regular After-Sales-Maintenance and Diagnostics for all its products.

This winning partnership between WTC & WDSB has positioned EWT beyond expectations to reach its current position today as the trusted producer of high-quality, and cost efficient distribution transformers and compact substation serving all utilities in Malaysia including the Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), Sabah Electricity Sdn. Bhd. (SESB), Syarikat SESCO Berhad, and the Waterworks Companies.
