SYNOPSIS

In recent concerns of consumers’ electricity bills and heightened awareness in environmental impact, air conditioners stand as the front liners in reducing the electrical cost and impact to the environment. A sustainable design is necessary in every project to achieve such goals, by to using the latest HVAC products and refrigerants like the recently adopted R32 gas. Product compliance is also necessary in order to instill confidence that equipment is following required standards and regulations set by regulating authority to be implemented into designs.

This study tour aims to introduce innovative products to be implemented into designs as well as to better understand the usage and requirements of the system.  The key highlight of the study is the R&D center and manufacturing process tour that would be organized to witness the product quality and manufacturing process, as well as the process flow and testing methods of each product. Finally, the study tour also focuses on the next generation refrigerant, R32 and its features.

The briefing shall also provide guidance and recommendations to engineers on HVAC designs from a wide range of Daikin equipment and products.
