Synopsis
This is a hands-on workshop to develop Android applications using Android Studio. This hands-on workshop requires participants to learn by building a simple real life working application incorporating user interface design and useful Android libraries, which can serve as a basis for their future Android projects.


Course Outline:
● Android Studio & SDK Tools
● User Interface Design with XML-based Layouts
● Simple List with RecyclerView
● Accessing Web Services with Volley


About The Course Leader
Yap Wen Jiun is a local Android OS developer and also a developer and trainer for CodeAndroid Malaysia. Yap is also a lecturer in Multimedia University and actively conducting research in IoT and smart home. As a Google fan boy, he started Android development since the day of early beta, became the de facto speaker of the community CodeAndroid Malaysia and is now active in Google Developer Group Kuala Lumpur.
