SYNOPSIS
This presentation will focus on: HOW TO SAVE WATER, ENERGY, MANPOWER AND UNTIMATELY MONEY IN THE TESTSTING, MONITORING & MAINTENANCE OF SPRINKLER SYSTEMS - new technologies available for flow switch and alarm valve testing and live sustainable modifications to sprinkler systems, saving significant amounts of water, energy & man hours leading to substantial financial savings in both capital and operational expenditure. Making buildings better for the environment and all stakeholders for their entire lifespan.
The presentation will further touch on:
• Addressable flow switch and alarm valve testing and monitoring. • Efficient Construction (POD’s) • Pre-action addressable sprinkler heads • Live sprinkler modifications • Live sprinkler inspections
SPEAKER BIODATA
Andy Wild has a background in Mechanical Engineering cutting his teeth in the Automotive Industry before joining the British Royal Air Force (RAF) as an Engineer. He completed his Mechanical Engineering degree (MEng) in 1987 from Shrivenham University, UK whilst serving in the RAF. After 14 years in the Air Force he left in 1998. He then spent several years back in the automotive sector with Johnson Controls before moving to MASCO.
He has since read employment and Health and Safety Law and completed the 17th Edition Electrical training. Andy has been involved on and off with Project Fire since leaving school as a personal friend of both the current and previous managing directors of the privately owned business, he became Sales Director in 2016 and travels extensively around the world educating and informing clients, consultants and installers of the benefits of Project Fires innovative and sustainable products.
