SPEAKERs BIODATA

Ir. Tang Lai Peng, Ir. Tang Lai Peng graduated with a Degree in Civil Engineering in 1981 from the University of Aston in Birmingham, England. He is a Professional Engineer (Civil) with practicing certificate registered with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia. He is also a Corporate Member of the Institute of Engineers, Malaysia.

Ir. Tang Lai Peng has extensive experience in the construction of building structures working as a civil and structural engineer for the past 35 years. He specializes in the field of precast concrete method of construction encompassing design, production, site erection and all related contractual matters.

He has a passion for the precast concrete method of construction in particular the IBS in building structure and he has been involved in this field for the past 27 years.

Ir. Chu Kiun Heng graduated with Degree in Civil Engineering in 1995 from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. He is a Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia and also a Professional Engineer (Civil) with practicing certificate registered with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia.

Ir. Chu Kiun Heng has over 20 years of experience in the field of engineering. He started gaining his experience with an established consultant company as a designer engineer. From thereon, he moves to a more specialise field which is precast concrete Industrialised Building System by joining Eastern Pretech (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. and headed the design department which take charge of design and technical matters.

Today his involvement is mainly in Precast Engineering and Development, quality assurances and quality control.
