SYNOPSIS

Road Safety Audit (RSA) may be defined as a formal examination of the planning, design and construction of road projects and of the characteristics and operation of an existing road by independent and qualified examiners also known as Road Safety Auditors, to identify any potentially unsafe features or operational arrangements that may adversely affect the safety of any road user.


BIODATA

Ir. Eeh Yih Bing

Ir. Eeh Yih Bing graduated with a Bachelor Science of Civil Engineering degree from University of Kentucky, USA in 1999. He has been in the engineering profession for more than 18 years. Involved with Road Design and Road Safety Audit for more than 17 years. He has worked with experienced Road Safety Auditors and Road Designers.

Ir. Eeh has been involved in numerous Road Safety Auditing in Malaysia, such as North South Expressway (NSE), Seremban Port Dickson Highway (SPDH) under PLUS; SMART Tunnel; MEX (Maju Expressway); NPE (New Pantai Expressway) DUKE (Duta- Ulu Kelang Expressway), DUKE 2 & DUKE 3; KTMB Electrified Double Track – Rawang to Ipoh, Seremban to Gemas and Gemas to Johor Bahru, MRT & MRT 2, LRT 3 and Pan Borneo. etc.

He is currently attached to Pakatan Jurutera Pintar (PJP) Sdn. Bhd. He has been with PJP for more than 15 years. He is an Accredited Road Safety Auditor. He serves as a committee member in the Highway and Transportation Engineering Technical Division (HTETD) of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM).
