SYNOPSIS

Established in 1991, the Nilai factory is one of SKF Group’s most modern and technologically advanced manufacturing facilities.  
Built on a total land area of 106 000 square meters with an investment of more than USD 200 million, the factory is an important part of SKF global supply chain of bearings. In line with SKF global quality standards, all manufacturing and quality control processes are fully automated and equipped with state-of-the-art machinery to produce the latest generation of bearings. SKF-designed, online measuring equipment is used to monitor dimensions and geometries of rings. Every bearing is checked for vibration levels and radial clearance to meet the SKF quality standard, one of the most demanding in the bearing industry. SKF Nilai manufactures and supplies Deep Groove Ball Bearings, Self-Aligning Ball Bearings and Spherical Roller Bearings to renowned multinational customers across Asia, Europe and Americas. These bearings are mainly used in precision applications such as electric motors, industrial gearboxes, material handling, textile, food & beverage, cars, trucks and many others.
