Objectives :
The Information and Communications Technology Special Interest Group (ICTSIG) aims to promote the professional practice of information technology in Malaysia. The main activities of the Group include talks, technical visits and publications, etc. The activities complements those of the IEM but with a specific focus towards information technology.
The objectives of the IEM ICTSIG are:

To promote awareness, facilitate exchange of ideas and application of the Information Technology among members of IEM;

To work towards a virtual community among members of IEM through the Internet;

To promote and safeguard the interest of IEM members in Information Technology products and services.
Membership
Members of the IEM of any grade may become members of the Information and Communications Technology Special Interest Group. Membership may be effected by registration with the Division and no extra membership fees shall be payable.
